Looks like the 9523* series were Camillus Sears
Although I didn't find the 95235

Dave, Roland, and Brady, those are some excellent finds!! You guys have certainly kept busy!

Dave, that nutter is in fantastic shape, as is the AB.
Roland, the 1014 reminded me of a knife I've had for quite a while now. It's the little brother, #1012, complete with the happy trails box they came in:

V. nice Eric ! just as nice as mine !
except for Military FBs, i see v. few Camillus FBs on ebay. i gues Camillus made far fewer FBs than Schrade ?
and Larry, thanks for info that my checkered Stockman is likely a Camillus. the Camillus and Schrade Premium Stock knives are hard to tell apart.

I like the Happy Trails box!! Did you make that up Eric, or was it really named that back in the day??

O.K. then; it came in the mail. Inky, snappy and etchy!

The shadows on the blades are from my creaky old scanner. It will be a sad day when she croaks!!

A question comes to mind with this knife. I've noticed that Schrade Cut. Co. knives that are Stainless, are much more rare than the good old Carbon steel ones. And the Stainless knives appeared in their own section, in the 1926 catalog.
I know that Stainless didn't sell well, and a lot of companies tried, then dropped them until more modern times. I wonder what span of time was covered by their production???

Charlie,

No, I just made that up, I don't know what they called those boxes. The phrase sure seems to fit though!

That pearly is fantastic!!

My latest, from the Allentown show today. I was feeling pretty smug about an American Knife Co., Plymouth, lockback English jack, and this nice Cut Co. #1553 3/4, until that gosh darned Rusty1 came by and emptied his pockets.

He did it again !

He spent his whole lunch budget, 2 hotdogs and a Coke, for two nice Schrades. I'd tell 'yall what they are, but if he isn't too ashamed of himself, maybe he'll post 'em.

I don't know Eric, maybe we oughta film this guy and sell the DVD's, " Bargain Knifing 101."

Anyway, here's my switch.

nothing outrageous, but who could pass up these at less than $20 each ?

J.C.Higgins "Bowie Hunter"// Schrade-Walden/N.Y. U.S.A. i think it's from about 1961 ?

I take most of my pics with an SLR digital camera, of course I use a Tripod, which for the life of me I cannot find, as soon as I locate it I will post pics.

The knives purchased were nothing outlandish, nothing really special just standard Old Timer and Uncle Henry knives but very nice lunch box prices.

Well after a lot of searching I finally found the tri pod. The knives below were found last Saturday the 8th May at a Gunshow in Allentown PA. As Fran reffered to the purchase in an erarlier thread as spending my lunch box money! He wasn't far wrong. Found the 25OT in same era sheath for $34.95, the sheath has seen a little wear although the knife is mint or 99.9% thereof, the grooves on the saw cut handles are that pronounced it seems you could almost drive through them.

The 885UH is an unfinished factory custom I would assume. Stag handles, the blades are unsharpened, back springs are rough and of course no hafting, something different!
I wonder how that would look completley finished. $30.00. not exactly cheap but still nice!

When Fran left the show, I took one more look around the tables in a smaller room off the main hall. Two other knives caught my eye. An LB8 NIB, all that's missing is the replacement knife paperwork, together with a NIB 124UH all paperwork included. I left the show without buying the 124 and LB8, had to race of to meet the wife! for the rest of the day I was kicking myself for not grabbing them. Woke up Sunday morning! said to the wife I'll be back in an hour! Raced up to the Gun show and promptly checked the particular table from the prevoius day. They were still there!! I also noticed a smaller knife, Schrade Walden 832 Stockman with Rosewood handles, looks like Rosewood to me anyway. Came away with all three which amounted to paying $30.00 dollars each one. I am not always eager to knock the vendor down although I tried my luck this time, I can't take much off, he replied! although if I had paid his asking price the three knives would of cost of $105.00. Now most of you are aware that on that famous auction site which we all look at now and again, I would of paid nearly the total for one knife alone. The only thing that bothered me all last week was that I had to go without lunch for two days. :D:D
