Fantastic shots Jerod and Larry!

Tongueriver, that's a mighty fine Orvetco! Some of the nicest stag I've seen on a 165, even looks better than the factory stag:thumbup::thumbup:

Here is an old Schrade Cut Co Barlow I picked up for a few dollars.
It was in pretty rough shape but I thought I could salvage it and make a good EDC.
Here are some before and after pics. My only regret is that the bone I used for the handle turned out far more yellow after I polished it.
I like the steel in these old knives. They seem to hold an edge even better than the later Schrades and seem to get sharper, but it could just me.

Dale

PS- It is a GREAT EDC!

That is totaly disgusting to a neophite I would be happy with just a good condition 499S and here is the hole set mint super duper deluxe nice collection do you sleep with them Ha!

........I'm starting to firm up just looking at them.......I havn't seen luverly fixed blades like that since our beloved late Arnold used to show his....
Q: WHAT?..WHERE?..HOW?....WHEN?...COST?....WHO?...WHY SO MINTY?....YOU'RE NOT ALBERTS' LOVE CHILD ARE YOU?.......Hoo Roo.....

LOL.... One cant reveal all his secerts.... All I can say is I have access to so very fine knives and everytime I buy one they are always the most beautiful perfect schrade knive I have ever seen. If you look closely they even have that real pretty white haze around the edge that you used to see on the older ones.. and yes I sleep with them... LOL.....

I have to pay good money for them but the are always exactly what he said they are. I do not even make him send me pictures anymore....

Nice going Jerod, very very nice looking knives, when does the time machine come down my road?

Russell

Congratulations on a wonderful set. They would make a fantastic display all their own at a show. You even made Larry wring his hands, and that would take some doing!:D

Great restoration.

G'day Jerod, .....put me down for half dozen Perpetual Calendar knives...and....ah....half dozen Distinguished Gentlemans.....and get him to look in the bottom drawer for some mint 2OT's....and...no that will do at this stage...can you ask him please??......or if you like we can cut out the middle man and just let me contact him direct.....whatchathink??....Hoo Roo..<I still havnt got over the state of all those knives.....is it too personal to ask if he has arms and hands?....cos those knives have never been touched?.......wait a minute..stop press......I just did a zoom..they're all Taylor made protos of his new 69er Series.......right?>

It is amazing that all those MIB knives have shown up!
Nice fixed blades, Jerod!

Here are some folders I just got in the mail; no boxes, but they are minty.
The evil :grumpy: scratch is on my scanner, but the "rubs" are on the blades.

The stockman with the Craftsman etch is tang stamped "stainless" on the main blade, pile side.
The stocks are ~ 3 15/16" long, and the single-spring Muskrat is 4".

Another nice group of knives Charlie!! I don't get sick of seeing that Schrade Bone. Do you know if the single backspring Muskrats were generally made with the rounded bolsters? If so it maybe easier to spot in a group.
