You may want to check this site out before you do anything major to that knife. Thanks, It's been stored in the sheath, I got the fingerprint in the front smoothed out but it is still stained + there are a couple of small stains on the back. Haven't rubbed on it much yet because I didn't know exactly how much to clean. Still have fun searching for it's origin but not finding much.
Oh HECK YEAH! If you can find the box and papers it would be great.Emailed the seller and told him that I'd be interested in buying boxes, papers etc. if they should happen to turn up.
You might try here. http://www.horsekeeping.com/jewelry/knives/MK439-sheath-yazzie.htmDoes anyone know if Doris Yazzie has a business association where she might be contacted by email?
Let us know if she is any help to you? Thanks, Just sent a couple of pics off to Paula @ horsekeeping, she seems petty nice. We'll see how it goes. I spent the last 2 xmases in southern Nevada doing the Santa thing. Lots of nice people there, I appreciate your help.
Not only my latest Schrades, but my first 881 and 80T. If that wasn't cool enough how about the green bone covered 881 with an Old Timer shield? It is a very nice rehandle job just the same and my favorite of the lot. Just an excellent pattern all around
