I just got my first 881 a couple of days ago too. It's a late model one with Schrade+ blades.

Hey, I've got one of those too. I think it was meant to be a 100 year anniversary knife. That is a Founders Edition. Schrade revived the 881 in 2002 or 2003 for this stainless version.
Schrade must have been working overtime making knives and other items; for their 100th Anniversary.Hey, I've got one of those too. I think it was meant to be a 100 year anniversary knife.![]()

Good find GASOUTHERNBOY.KoldGold, I finally got my hands on the C641 to go with my sheath.
Depends. HW dates most of his pieces and would hardly have used banned ivory if indeed it is ivory at all and not bone. Legal ivory is still legal to own.The "beautiful Elephant Ivory scales" could be worth thousands of dollars; in fines and court costs. Now-a-days only Elephants can have "beautiful Elephant Ivory"
No it's not bone. You can see the matrix lines in the ivory, plus it's older. I have lots of ivory knives. Pre ban ivory or hippo ivory. This is Elephant Ivory. I will post a picture soon. It's a pain in the arse to do it from my IPad or I'm just tech stupid.
