Nothing special, just a new EDC knife to replace my well used 855RB EDC. That one will go in a tool box to be used and abused as tool box knives are and this new unimpressive looking 855RB with mint blades and very low price tag will go in my pocket.

EDIT:
Turns out that it is a little more 'impressive' after I got it and cleaned it up. Except for a little rust pitting on the springs. Just right for a $10.50 EDC knife.

Probably my favorite Old Timer Pattern. Bought as used, but it hasn't been. Cleaned up nice. A few carbon specks here and there.

Gotta love the slendereeno...

I've had this one for a little while and got it cleaned up.

Does it also have milled liners? Most of the bone handled ones I've seen did.

Yes sir. They show a little wear, but they are there. You can see a little surface crack in the picture that only goes as far as you can see there. Not to the center pin.

I think I got a little better lighting in these pics.

I almost wish I hadn't cleaned it up sometimes. It looked pretty neat the way it was when I got it.

Here's a newcomer that has been in the pocket for a week. I was glad to find a junior cattle knife 856 pattern that was broke in nicely. Sharpened up really well.

I believe that is a Schrade-Walden 173 horticulture knife. I'll bet you just won it for $26 on eBay.

Not even close. I put in a low maximum and I was hoping to get lucky. The last 173 I saw was listed for around $100. Congratulations.

Really, there is nothing special about it other than being rather rare. Likely it was not a big seller. I was willing to go 'high' based on the rarity.

I've been using my 173 as a leather knife. Kinda rethinking that, but boy does she sharpen up good, has a thin blade that just slides through the leather real sweet.

Got another Schrade Walden 825 in yesterday. MoorMan's stamped on the shield is the name of a large livestock feed supplier. The mirror polish on the blades is factory finish. I just cleaned it up. They also smoothed and polished the springs real pretty too. No milled liners on this one.
