What's your latest Schrade? START DATE 8/12

154OT drop point on eBay. I bought it for $47 with $7 shipping. I am eagerly awaiting it. I wanted a sharp or little finger too, but I can wait. Schrade steel is wonderful.
 
Just picked up a Factory Second Schrade 3 Generation C648 last night. Waiting! Best of all I was the solo bidder. I could not let it go unloved.
 
Liking those 3rd Generation knives aren't you?
I don't blame you, they are great little knives.

Tom, You know it! I've got two extra's now. One is a good user at it has a good amount of blade wear.

Here is one of my latest Schrade's. A Older Timer 96OT missing the shield but I managed to pick up a 10 pack in order to restore it. I've got a Lake & Walker SLW2 in the mail. Hopefully it will be in my box today.

If nothing else that will make a good user. Rare to see a Schrade with a toothpick and tweezers. I thought about pulling the trigger on one if I could ever find a decent one.

just got these in, the first is a WR1 which is neat in that i am a PADI person.
the 2nd is a SP-1 in box and the 3rd was a 787 Improved Muskrat.

Should clean up nice. There is a thread or two around here about restoring delrin handles.

The 96OT sold from 1992 to 2004, last price in 2004 was $41.95.
I have an unused 96OTS, they sold from 1996 to 2000 selling in 200 for $4.95.
I have just looked at the price the 96OT are sell for, now-a-days. There not cheep.

You are right Ken, they do draw high prices. It is actually a pretty hefty knife, a little too much for my pocket (Size wise), seems it would have been better suited in a small sheath as a user. A very handy knife though.

Just my two cents worth

I got picked it up for $24 then the 10 pack of shield was $10. So I've got a little bit of cash in it but not like those NOS ones on the Bay. Did a recent search for one & found one in good great same for cheap. So you may want to look again: Vintage Schrade USA Unsharpened VFC Bearhead Trapper 96 OT.

Once I get the shield glued in I'll have more pictures. Whit the condition it's in I plan to make it a user in a nice small sheath.

KoldGold, That 96OTS would be nice since it has the saw blade. I just saw one of those for a pretty penny this weekend on Face(book); Not sure if I can comment about that page on here.

My Lake & Walker SLW2 came in last night. Got to get some pictures of it for you guys. It's Mint! Any information on the Lake & Walker knives; Production run?
