Schrade not bein' what it once was the last Schrade USA I've gotten albeit quite a few years ago was this Schrade Cut County Walden NY Wurlitzer Ring Opener in Nickle Silver.

That one is quite the prize for your collection.

Those older 293 and 294 trappers are very attractive knives. Thanks for showing yours! I just got this 165 in today, serial # 17026, not the earliest or latest # I have seen, but it is absolutely untouched; the factory grind lines go all the way to the cutting edge. The included sheath was original and perfect, with that good smell and totally supple. Missing was a Wyoming moose permit; never gonna draw one.

Sorry about the hunt draw but a very nice get on the knife! Always room for one more special Woodsman in the collection!

just got this Lake and Walker in. completes the set semi. had the serrated edge now have the smooth edge on. were they the same number? the smooth is listed as SLW1 on box and the serrated doesn't have a number on it. looked up the cateloge and it showed SLW2. is that correct? were there any others?
