What's your newest Buck knife

My latest Buck is a 119 Special with Cocobolo colored handle. Instant affection and bonding with this knife as a tool and implement. Excellent fit for my hand and the heft is just what I like in a cutting tool. She is no slouch in the aesthetics department either as she is a looker. I like knives that are practical for hunting, camping and survival, the Buck 100 series checks those boxes for me.

My newest Buck isn't new at all, but it's one I've longed for for a while. The #112 Ranger has been my favorite folder since High School (pre-1975). I have owned quite a few and given some as gifts, but never a "no nail nick", the knife I desired as a kid, but never got. Finally found a two-dot for sale at Northern Knives Alaska. Three days later it made it's way to my front door, shining like a new penny, very gently used condition. I'm re-living a part of my youth, in a small way.

Every time I pick up a 110 and especially the ebony ones I am transported back to the days of high school Class of '71 when you could mod a 110 to be a gravity knife. Next year is our 50th reunion and I want my newest custom 110 on my belt, just because. Back then everyone wore their Buck in school, stowed their shotguns or rifles in their lockers from early morning deer hunting or hitting it again after school, unless it was a really expensive gun, then it went to the principals office to be kept safely.

Man it was great to be American.
