What's your newest Buck knife

At Buck factory sale i picked up a couple im not familiar with and had a Spit Fire built while standing in line with Black G10, laminated steel 154/S90V. You pick scales color and material, spacer, blade steel. They build it within a min or two. Here are a few I picked up. Linen Micarta 486? These are badass. Someone collects 525s, I couldn't find one with a single pic of a wolf.20201205_005252.jpg 20201205_005336.jpg 20201205_005403.jpg 20201205_005446.jpg 20201205_005513.jpg 20201205_005524.jpg 20201205_005759.jpg 20201205_005815.jpg 20201205_005811.jpg 20201205_005838.jpg

Buck 110 Pro Folding Hunter Knife 3.75" S30V Plain Blade, Black G10 Handles

I am awed by the excellent craftsmanship of this particular piece. Hefty and confidence inspiring.

Delivered yesterday morning, this 110 Pro is a work of engineering and art as she is tight as "Dick's hat band." Gave her two hot water and detergent baths, a couple of WD 40 flushes, an alcohol flush, some bathing with 3 in 1 Teflon oil and just a constant breaking in. This evening she is starting to feel like a user. I think this thing will last 150 years easy.

The only con is that I can't put her in the sheath she came with, she requires the dignity of an American made distressed or suede leather sheath.

Here’s one I needed for my small Buck collection whatever it is worn Sambar stag? Seller called it bone, it has a 506 blade,
it took three weeks to win an auction, LoL it was listed three weeks ago I added it to my watch list but I forgot about it and it ended then it was relisted and did the same thing then next time it listed I placed a bid a week later I won it, can’t believe nobody else bid on this they had three weeks to do it. It needs cleaned, but I like it. 08094427-9BD7-4CAD-8844-F17EC8120945.jpeg 701583F7-B654-4BCD-B200-F174521CDE68.jpeg DC757755-873C-4488-AD45-F35135EB571A.jpeg 54BC67AA-C8C5-4039-8286-D85F7F53E770.jpeg 5A69A8CB-9934-459B-BE84-E2A194D547CB.jpeg A1EB9712-B225-42C4-B516-DA308D91A2CA.jpeg

Looks like it started out as Elk, but something happened to it????
If you wanted it smooth again you could probably sand it to make it look better.

I got my SK Blades 212 yesterday. Really like the knife, but c'mon Buck! The sheath is not up to snuff at all. Why would you not make a sheath along the lines of the 102, or any of the 100 series for this knife? Being a lefty, I knew I would have to reach out to Makael for a sheath, but still...

A while back I bought matching 119 blades and gave one to my oldest son. He has gotten a lot of utility and enjoyment from that knife. It is scratched up and dinged, has a well loved leather sheath, and has been sharpened many times. He loves it.

The one I bought for myself has sat in the box, unused. My older one from the 80’s has all my personal wear, and is still used on occasion.

Since the new one is collecting dust, I gifted it to a good friend. He will enjoy it and press it into rabbit cleaning duty, and for butchering cattle once in a while.

Today, after drinking a bit of good coffee and enjoying the weather, I was in a good mood and ordered another 119. This time, one in Cocobolo and brass. I have always admired these beautiful materials on the 119.

Merry Christmas to me! :)
