That’s my favorite 112 for carrying. I got the S30V model just so I wouldn’t wish I did but it’s a really great knife in any steel. Congratulations!

How do you like that 309 compared to the 305 ?
You did recently get a 305 right ?

Me I misremembered the model numbers and bought a 309 companion before realizing it was the 305 lancer that I was interested in trying.
The 309 I bought was a modern Post falls example and I just didn't like the shape of the mail blade so I gave it to my uncle who loves it.
Some day I'll have to get a 90's example to try.
 
I Like The Straight edge Blade on the Lancer better but the Size of the Other one Better. That's how it Goes!!
 
Just came in from a friend who picked it up at the Factory Store for me: A Factory Blemish (FB) of the Vanguard "Pro", a 192 with a Green Micarta handle and an S35VN blade. The tiny hairline scratch is what made it a "Blemish." I am sure some Flitz metal polish will make it go away.
