Well Thank You. The Talon is most definitely a killer. Would make quick work of wood, bone, or anything else in its path.

I'm pretty happy with this 112 I picked up at Cabelas last week. Can't go wrong for 30 bucks (Canadian). It locks up solid and I find it addictive to open and close. It has a smooth resistance on the back lock.

jbmonkey , I purchased the tanto a couple months ago based on the appearance of the two. However, after having both in hand it's close, but the spear feels just a bit better.

To take preference a bit further I would not mind having another set in coyote tan as well.

I felt that way initially. I've come round to liking the tanto as much somedays more. I only have the coyote colored ones myself. great knives, highly underrated.
