a personal favorite. well thougth out design with a lot of cutting edge and yet carries small on the belt. I consider it a heavily underrated knife on the Buck line up, but most of the modern designs aren't very popular round here.I have my "Go To" fixed blades that I use when I'm camping, backpacking, spending lots of time in the woods, etc. I decided I wanted a less expensive fixed blade that I could take on day hikes and use around the yard, out at the fire pit in the woods behind the house, etc. A beater, of sorts. I saw a Pursuit 656 at what seemed like a reasonable price, so I decided to give it a try.
I've only used it once, so far, prepping some fire pit wood and some hiking sticks, but I'm pleased with it so far. I'd like to hear about your experience with the 656, if you've got one. Mine is the standard model in 420HC.

Even though I've only used it once, I did manage to scrape some paint off the button on the sheath.![]()
I really like my 110LT. Agreed on how light and slender it is. Solid lockup, easy to keep sharp. I like what they did with the blade shape on it.Today I got a 110Lt.
It's nothing to compare to the knives shown here but I think it is a classic solid
no frills working knife.
I'm amazed at how light this thing in relation to the amount of cutting edge.
Picked up a standard 102.
Got my interest up rje. Looks like a rugged built knife good for game prep. My folding alpha is OK but a fixed longer blade would often come in handy. Still got my Puma Skinner made in 1966 in mint shape and probably worth some good money today. Don't want to screw it up. Cost me $27 back then!
