What's your newest Buck knife

Ooh, nice! Is that for the display case, or will it see some use and carry?
To be perfectly honest, it’s probably for the collection primarily, however I have a new thumbstud arriving for it on Monday, so I can carry it if the mood strikes. The way the finger scallops lock this knife into the hand, it badly needs that thumbstud, in my opinion!

Either way, it's a great catch!

I'm not going to say that I wish Buck would make more of them because if they did, the price would probably be higher than finding a vintage example available for sale!

Boy Scouts of America.👍

Buck makes, sponsors and sell knives for them.
And I'm happy to support them.

They have a 112lt on the BSA scoutshop site.
That's where I got mine, it wasn't cheap. However, last time I posted where something was, they deleted my post because they said I was trying to sell something. I was trying to tell people there was a walnut 539 NOS at a place.

Yes, indeed! I also wasn't sure if I could name it. Our local scout shop is pretty small, and I'm usually just in there to pick up bits of my son's uniform. Today I happened to have a coupon, and wandered over to the camping equipment side of the store. I'm sure it's been mentioned here before that 112LT's are still available at scout shops. Either I forgot, or I must not have been paying attention.

I was talking to a guy about knives and told him I like buffalo handle knives. I was referring to Case XX but he showed me these and I bought them. Now I have to hunt for the rest of this series. The one I'd want the most is the companion to the 110. The SMKW Exclusive 112.

I gotta start talking to more guys about knives. SMKW exclusives just never seem to come up in my conversations.

I picked up this 309 off the bay. It's been carried a bit, but the blades don't appear to have been used much at all. Now, on to find a 305!

I'm new to the Buck "club" I've many knives but just purchased my first Buck a 119. One of my "cheapest" purchases but very impressed and won't be my last!

Looking at a 105 and 110 lite hunter (not so keen on the weight of the traditional folders).

Will also now be on the lookout for any special editions secondhand such as the cocobolo handled bucks.

I carry a very light knife daily. The 112 is heavy, but feels great in your hand. Wear it scout style on your belt and you will forget it's there.

Two knife models that came yesterday. First is the Fixed Hunter 101. Second is a Folding Hunter 110 with a special sheepsfoot blade (only 100 made). I didn't know the second even existed but I suppose there are so many variations out there almost everything you can think of probably exists.

Edit: I am not really a heavy user of knives but I would think that if you are already going to wear a sheath for the folded 110, you may as well use the 101 instead. Then it is instantly ready. They don't make the model anymore so apparently it wasn't popular?

Open Season 547 w/S30v.
It has a thumb disk, but this knife flips open really well.
It's a tank.

Pocket clip.
And available with nylon or leather sheath.
I'm seeing these on the auction site for over $80.

DLT has them for much less.
And they're a supporting dealer.👍

I love when dealers have NOS available (or maybe it's a new build-out). Regardless, I ordered this and since it was less than $99 and I'm too cheap too pay for shipping, I added the Buck axe too. First, axe for me.
