What's your newest Buck knife

Great score!! I always dig through tackle boxes at yard/estate sales hoping to find a nice knife.

Absolutely! I only got the tackle box for the lures it had in it; Nils Master, Reidy's, Rapala etc.
The knives were a bonus I didn't see until I emptied it out.
They were under all the rusty hooks, old fish scales, and nylon line in the bottom.

Just picked up another couple of Bucklites today.
The black one is 1990 (425M) and has had very little use.
The green one is 1993 (420HC?) and needs a good clean and sharpen.

I was waiting for the green 112 slim select to be re-stocked, when it did I changed my mind and went orange. I like it but the tip is dull/rounded. I can sharpen that out so no worries.

So this isn't my knife. My kids participated in the BCCI youth knife thingy and each of them got a sweet fixed blade in the mail. They're beyond thrilled! Last year it was a Spitfire, this year it's a fixed. Our scout already plans to bring it on the next camp out later this month.

I have a black one & it gets carried alot. I like a lighter weight knife in the Summer, and the size of the 112 is about right for my needs. As far as the rounded tip, that wouldn't be a big deal for me, because I rarely get a knife that the factory edge suits me.

My first couple of Saunters showed up yesterday! The BOTM and this regular clip point Micarta version. Shaving sharp out of the box, a coat of 3 in One oil on the Micarta, and into the pocket!

Copper and Clad sent an email this past weekend listing this 073 Kinetic Throwing Knife Set as an open box item - meaning no box at all. I jumped on it faster than a Swiss Cake Roll!

It showed up yesterday in new condition, including the two paper inserts. The price I paid is the only thing keeping me from taking it out back with the kids and making it a user! LOL! I mean look at them! They’re just begging to be thrown.

Since my daughter decided that she loved my little 055, and it is now hers, I wanted to replace one of my favorite backup knives. Buck sent me a very nice example, fit and finish are darn near perfect:


I also received another Buck today, which I'm going to save for Fixed Blade Friday.

Stopped by a Pawn Shop to browse around and walked out the door with this 1986 finger groove 110 for just under $50. Came with the sheath. The blade is in nearly new condition with little use and the bolsters and wood are in great shape for being close to 40 years old. It has a bit of a proud pin in the front brass bolster. I hit it with some Flitz and it looks ready for a night on the town.
