What's your newest Buck knife

My newest Buck Knife, my second LE from the "Danny Collection" Limited to 63 made by Danny Peretti before he retired in April 2024. The other is the Danny Vantage in Damasteel and blue paper micarta, one of 88.

My first custom. A 110 and it took just a little over 4 weeks to get it in hand. The steel choice was easy for me: 420HC! I have tried many different steel options and 420HC is by far my favorite. Excellent work Buck!
Just an update on this new knife (have had it ~6 months now). I’ve carried it daily as my EDC and honed it for the first time today. It was still functional but the edge was starting to slip a bit and after 6 months it was time. Less then 10 minutes free handing it on a Washita and then a soft Arkansas and it is stupid sharp and ready for another six months of service. This is why I like 420 HC steel for every day use. It’s more than adequate! More than enough and it sharpens so easily. You don’t have to guess. You don’t have to work and you don’t have to buy special stones. You just sit down and a few minutes later you have a scary sharp blade again. Very little steel is removed and thankfully I have other knives to sharpen otherwise with just a sharpening every 6 months, I’d forget how to sharpen a knife. Super steels are great to tweek on and geek over but for every day use you can just give me bucks 420HC.
The rest of the knife is holding up beautifully too. Still no wiggle or wobble and besides cleaning it after heavier use and polishing the bolsters haven’t had to do anything with it. Also, the light tan custom suede case is still like new.

Great looking elk on that custom.

OK, I know this isn't a "knife," but I don't know where else to post it. I just picked up this 110 sheath from the local knife shop. Pat (the proprietor) said he thought it dated from the 80s. (Something about "You know, back when they had those green and tan boxes." His knife history knowledge is incredible.) I have my circa 1974 two-dot 110 in it, and I like it a lot better than the original black leather sheath.
Need to get an audio file of sonofwilfred sonofwilfred saying, "That's not a noife!".

A Ace Rimmer Dig the sheath. One of my favorites. Somehow just plain ole black doesn't do the trick sometimes. The Buck Knives mountain logo embossed on your sheath was used from approximately 1997 to 2001. I think the brown "pancake" sheaths may have been issued with FG 110s.

edit/additional info Per Mr. Oden's book your sheath may have only been offered in 1998, so pretty rare/unique.

Since we are talking sheaths, I'll add my finds here also. Don't mind the Sharp sheath, it was part of the lot. Wondering if anyone has info on the 110 sheath with the no.110 at the top on the backside. Only ones I have seen the no.110 is on the bottom on the backside. Got them cleaned up too. Appreciate any info, thanks!!

My Buck 152 arrived yesterday, I cannot upload pics at the moment since I reached some sort of maximum allowed, I like it but the handle is a little blocky. It is a fixed 112 of course but would have thought the scales would be a little more rounded off. It is a cool size.

Working on a 105 Pro in green micarta, waiting on word from the seller on the exchange.

Wow! I really like that!
Awesome! That looks great!

Thank you both! 😁

I'll be honest.. I was secretly hoping for some stag-like character like my 110 has, but I really like this one exactly the way it is. The nickel and white of the elk really compliment each other, and I think yours S SoDak81 is going to look awesome without rivets. It looks even better in person!

Can't wait, today's mail should be here within the hour.

Beautiful knives, gentlemen, congratulations!
They are similar, yet totally unique.
Guess great minds really DO think alike..

Also, i have a feeling that the Custom Shop at Buck is about to be very busy indeed.
Thank you! 😁 He made me do it. 🤣🤣

The turnaround from the time I ordered to the time it was delivered ended up being 2 1/2 weeks. I'll be curious to see what it is now that magnacut was announced.
