What's your survivla knife??

Swamp Rat Ratweiler in a Spec-ops survival sheath with a Vic tool and a WSI fire starter in it's pocket, riding on a web belt on my hips while in the woods.

Leatherman wave, I always have on me, so it would most likely be used in a true survival situation, but to head into the woods, I would be taking my Swamp Rat Knife Works "Howling Rat", and for days when I don't have a belt, I have a SAK camper.

This thread would be way better with pics.

The top blade here is one of my Orange Mora survival knives. The other two Moras are also great, with the Clipper getting a lot of use in my kitchen.

I carry the SAK Explorer at all times along with the Kershaw Blackout. When I carry a Sheath knife, it depends on what I am doing I usually have either a fellet or hunting knife, often a Mora carbon clipper.

I always carry my Victorinox Farmer, and usually my Douk-Douk, as well. That combination is hard to beat.

Busse SFNO on my pack, but a RAT3 on my person. I just picked up a Bravo1 which may become my new "on my person" fixed blade. But at the moment I haven't tried it out yet.

^I'm ordering a Rat-3 and maybe getting a Bravo-1 for X-mas ;)

As soon as I figure this out I'll try to post them. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here... Can I post images if I'm not a Gold Member?

You should be able to post a pic with a basic membership, try the direct link on the photobucket menu.

BRKT Fox River as always

I always have my Leatherman Wave with me. In the city I ussually also carry a large CS Voyager or a Vic Hunter. When I go camping, the Voyager gets substituted with a Becker Necker and either a CS Master Hunter or a CS SRK.

All depends on how deep I go. Could be anywhere from a short day hike, to several days out hunting. Here is a list of what usually comes along.

Bravo-1
Northstar
Ratmandu
M6
Infi Coot
Dozier PGK
CRK Mountain II

These are the ones which are typically on my belt or attached to my pack, along with my either my Paramility or Socom Elite in my pocket.

Some kind of SAK, usually a Vic. "Ranger" model or a Wenger "Soldier," and a small stockman...in this case an older Old Timer 34OT. Sometimes, I'll replace that with my Vintage Knives Model 1902 "Moose."

If I need a "chopper" it will be my Ken Moore hand-forged bolo made from an old horseshoe rasp.

I didnt realise how many blades I carry on me till I cooked the steak tough at a barbeque and my wife asked for a knife to use to cut it , then her friend asked , then my mum asked and eventualy I was eating with my key chain knife ...

horses for courses tho , the belt knives are used for regular jobs , acording tot heir size , the damascus one is for using when I want to either show off a bit that I have a damascus user not a safe queen , or for when I want to just use it .. the keychain knife goes everywhere with me cos I like a blade incase ...

It would be the Vic Sportsman that's already in my pocket (although I swap it for a Huntsman on a planned trip), and the Caly 3 on my other pocket, along with the SR Bandicoot or Howling Rat on my belt. I'd be quite comfortable with that combination.

My edc is a Vic Compact and a Farmer plus something on the keychain (right now a Gerber Clutch). But sometimes i pare it down to a Vic Huntsman and the Clutch. But i seem to like threes so i kinda want to carry a Stockman with the Huntsman and Clutch. Then the question is do i take the fullsized Schrade 885UH Stockman or the tiny Schrade 807UH? If you do any fine whittling the blades on the little 807UH can get into tight spots.
And somedays i'll just take the Swisschamp alone.
If i'm hiking i'll have one of the above setups and a Fiskars hatchet or Wetterlings hatchet in my pack and a Mora 2000 or Triflex on my belt.
