Wheeler Fighting Bowie Project :) ( UPDATED CUTTING & FORGING VIDEOS)

Ooooooo.....getting close! And looking good - even with all that tape and that guy in the strange get-up. You're moving right along. Thank you and have a good weekend Nick. Mike

Is there a purpose to the tinted glasses while grinding the G10?

Only if you care about looking cool while you're grinding!!!

:p :D

Actually, they were just the pair I grabbed off the pegboard when I was gearing up. Those are almost clear from the inside. I normally hate tinted safety glasses because most of them make things really dark.

I took a bazillion shorts videos of shaping yesterday--- grinding this and that, filing this way, filing that way.... But I need to get some better software so I can edit them together into something watchable (and keep it all in HD).

I realize some folks couldn't care less, they just want a knife, and I can appreciate that! But I also know some of you guys really like seeing the process. :)

HaHa!!! That's frick'n awesome Pat!!! :D

That pic strikes me as: "Blade Runner meets steam-punk meets knife maker." LOL :D

Classic, Patrice!

All these knives suck, because none of them are for me.

: )

Nick, nice work. Hope you're good, bro.

Nick, for entry level software that is at least functional, try Adobe Premiere Elements. Its no where near as good as the full featured version, but is will edit and export in HD. Its fairly intuitive to learn as well. To be clear, its not great software, but it sucks less than most of the other entry software. I really liked the Nero editor and encoding, but its so buggy, I t keeps having random crashes. Nero has the best HD encoder in the industry- the same basic encoder that Hollywood Blu Rays are encoded with.

Thanks Warren! That sounds like a great option--- less bells and whistles are better for me... as they are overwhelming and wouldn't get used anyway. LMAO

Matt- I'm good my friend! I hope you are as well!!! :)

Are any of you fellas getting antsy with me here??? ;) LMFAO :D

Thanks guys! :)

Prototype, aka Numero 0... es completa. :)

Joe told me this knife is going to Coop... so I don't want to diminish the strength of the first impression that Coop's photo will have, by taking a bunch of my own.

But here's a bit of proof... ;) :)

So are these going to have serial numbers on all, or just the prototype?

SO enjoy your WIP's, Nick !
The extra time you spend filming, taking pics and explaining the processes goes a long way and is very much appreciated.
Heading towards 13K views says something.
Thank you again.

Can't wait to see what Joe and Paul do in the sheath department. :)
