Where to Buy Knives Online?

Thanks again. But I repeat that you guys are buying some fancy shit. I thought I was asking which hardware store to go to and you all pointed me toward Tiffany's. But I do appreciate it. If I'm ever in the market for a $200+ knife I'll know where to go.

The custom knife world is way above your threshold then if you’re shying away from the suggestions here so don’t even start down that fork in the path haha.

From your threads, more importantly your responses in those threads, a knife enthusiast forum doesn’t seem to be a good fit for you. Need is trumped by want 99% of the time, and for good reason.

You've had two pages in this thread and four or five posts in which you never said what you were looking for or what your price range was, so... It is perhaps unsurprising that no one was able to tell you exactly what you were looking for?

I love how you're always super salty at the answers everyone gives on this forum. I've bought knives that cost like $40 from DLT and Knifecenter before. Maybe you should spend some time "in the field" and see if you can find some manners. They're probably out there somewhere.

I strongly recommend DLT. If they don't carry what you're looking for, perhaps you could consider something that they do carry.
This answer is such a great example of this forum. You just suggested that instead of buying the knife I want, I should buy a different knife so that I can use the seller that you like. What a stupid comment.

Knifecenter sells some cheap stuff, mora, opinel, cheap Kershaw knives, or some gerber and crkt crap that might be your speed.
Thank you for the recommendation. I decided against Knifecenter but not because of their selection. I don't know who crkt is but if they are like Gerber I will pass. Anyway I wasn't asking for a recommendation on what knives to buy. I've learned that this isn't a good place for that sort of question.

A lesson in manners from a guy who posts in a thread to share his feelings instead of to answer the question. You could have just recommended Knifecenter. I love the Ignore feature.

Of course it is. Custom knives? That's for a level below even weekend warrior. I actually use my knife dozens of times a day.

I do thank people for making the suggestions they did. I'm just pointing out that they're buying some fancy knives. I mean, good for them and thanks for answering my question. But I am looking for knives to use, not to talk about.

Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about you because you're talking about custom knives. Do you also like to talk about cars you don't drive? Food you don't eat? That's not what I call "enthusiasm."

What are you talking about? I ended this thread more than a page ago when I said thank you all, y'all buy some fancy knives. End of story. If you guys would stop whining we could be done with it.

I'm replying, so I guess the thread is still open, and not, in fact, closed at all?

While we're at it though, I'd like to buy dinner at a restaurant. I'm not going to tell you what kind of food I want or how much I can afford to spend on it or where I live. What restaurant should I go to?

That's a new one for me, thank you, I'll look into it for next time!
Dont waste your time...It's the same fancy shit

Seems to me that the one sharing the feelings is the one who makes up stories about being "in the field" for "months at a time", yet seems to have plenty of time to post here. Guess it's not too far off the beaten path, then. Probably not a whole lot in the "Camp and travel" budget, when a $200 purchase is too rich for your blood. LOL
