Where to Buy Knives Online?

Of course it is. Custom knives? That's for a level below even weekend warrior. I actually use my knife dozens of times a day.

I use my custom knives. Again, a knife enthusiast site isn‘t for you if you believe your own naive comments.

Now, let’s hear how you use your knives harder than others 😂

I don't see how this statement makes any sense at all. If you commission a truly custom knife, it can be designed to handle exactly what you want. Believe it or not people do use their customs. I have a fairly large one that I take great pride in slaughtering watermelons with. My most used fixed blade is not a custom in the same sense but is a hand made piece designed by the maker Austin Goldman. It's a 6" blade full tang in S35VN with micarta handles. It's truly a beast. 3/16" stock with a very deep hollow grind and a strong tip. In 2018 I think that run of 2 dozen he did were only sold for $110 - $150 depending on the handle materials. I'd say worth every penny. In fact I think he was underselling himself but c'est la vie.

This answer is such a great example of this forum. You just suggested that instead of buying the knife I want, I should buy a different knife so that I can use the seller that you like. What a stupid comment.
By the way, pro tip- if you don’t get the joke, you might be the punchline.

Just fish a sharp rock out of whatever creek you get the sharpening stone you refuse to pack. Mother Nature's Two-Fer with no old man talk.

Now here's the thing: a forum is a not a place where one twit gets to demand answers from the old codgers of the peanut gallery, get his information (maybe, I dunno as you are equal parts cryptic and anbrassively combative), then say the discussion is over. Other twits may be wondering the same thing but might actually like to respond with a budget or desired features or anything vaguely resembling actual information in question form. The thread does not stop and start for you, Donnie. There are rules.

So good luck and glad you found what you are looking for, but others might have similar questions.

DLT is my 2 cents, btw.

Thanks again. But I repeat that you guys are buying some fancy shit. I thought I was asking which hardware store to go to and you all pointed me toward Tiffany's. But I do appreciate it. If I'm ever in the market for a $200+ knife I'll know where to go.
Ive bought some 11 dollars moras from some of those dealers....

getting cheaper than that......Harbor freight has a 5 buck machete and a 10 dollar clone of a Buck 184 sort of, and a 10 folder. dont think ya can get cheaper than that.......

Pretty much 100% of the planet's land has been explored by humans, so it's unlikely you'd be traveling and camping where nobody has been before. People also drop and lose things in the wilderness, especially knives. So why bother buying a knife to bring? Just find one in the field. If it's dull you can find some rock in the river to sharpen it with. When you're done with the knife, leave it behind and simply look for another when you need to cut something again.

Look, everyone knows that people who REALLY use their knives use only the cheapest pieces of junk possible!

I should just send him one of my mom’s old Russell pairing knives. She routinely has put them through hell for 40 years and they’re still in the drawer. If they can survive that, they should have no problem surviving a weekend at a Jellystone Campground.

Anyone have an opinion on DLT?

I'm replying, so I guess the thread is still open, and not, in fact, closed at all?

While we're at it though, I'd like to buy dinner at a restaurant. I'm not going to tell you what kind of food I want or how much I can afford to spend on it or where I live. What restaurant should I go to?
Do that restaurant meal right and you come away from it with a full belly and a new knife.

Go to a diner and order a steak. When you're done tear a page out of the menu and use it to make an expedient sheath for your steak knife. Pay for your meal and leave.

Free knife.

Did we ever figure out if it was cool or douchey to take your own steak knife to a steak house? I think that cage fight ended in a draw.
