No way, I mean, you’re right. SR101 its probably a great steel, but has too much carbon to be repeatedly abused against “El Brico” and a steel pole.

With that thick of a stock i think it would survive.. the edge would look serrated as anyone could imagine though with the thinner edge

Busse WTF would survive every test. The problem would be the shotgun. Look at the WTG Ares. It broke into pieces after being shot with that gun. Too much energy to dissipate. If Busse survives that, it will be epic!

Yes definitely but unless you leave steel soft nothing will survive a shotgun slug. I think we have become to obsessed with toughness... a knife also has to keep a edge without rolling or chipping.

You need a mid carbon steel like infi with the right geometry. The Edge of the mega will fracture like it did with the DT12 and cause the blade to snap eventually. Makes no sense, honestly it wont make it. If it didn't have such a deep hollow then maybe yes.

I had 2 x mega ratweilers its a awesome design with the best handle I have ever had on a chopper.
