Which Busse to send Joe X?

They're not even remotely similar.
Noss used his 5lb hammer through most of his testing, Joe X is almost entirely limited to forces generated by hand movement.
I was very surprised that SR101 snapped on impact the way it did because in the old NOSS videos most of those knvies didn't fail until he was pounding on the blade with the mallet to shear through iron bars.
I was not surprised at all... sr101 has never been tough IMO. Not ideal for large blades. Hype makes everything tougher. We will see about Infi.

Wow! You are dead wrong about SR-101 not being tough!

It is ideal for large blades.

We have over 20 years of testing and actual in-field use that proves this.

Knice!!! 👍 . . . . Awesome tests!

I love to see our knives getting the kind of love they were designed for . . .

I need to send this man some INFI to play with! ! ! :)

Let's Drink!

Jerry :)

Maybe send him a free reign? I wonder how long it would take for him to destroy THAT.

You may have noticed we're on the Busse "COMBAT" forum, not the "Busse Great Outdoor Tools" forum.

You must go into convulsions and black out for the rest of the day every time SpaceX has an unscheduled rapid disassembly.

Some things can only be learned by destructive testing.

The knife manufacturers all do destructive testing but never post the results.
If users want to know the results of destructive testing then we are forced to destroy the blades ourselves.

If you're Joe X's boyfriend, just say you're Joe X's boyfriend.

We made contact with Joe-X and will be sending him some INFI to destroy!

This ought to be fun!

That’s amazing news! Kudos to you Jerry for agreeing to send a knife to a confirmed berserker! 👏

Can’t wait for the video.

Jerry Busse Jerry Busse the Busse warranty is good for all major damage to Busse knives, but what about damage to the user? I'm worried that JoeX will injure himself before he damages the knife. 🤔😲

I think the “secret” to survive JoeX tests is a thick, wide, not very long saber grind knife and made of Infi or probably SR77. On the opposite side, there’s the machetes… but that is a conversation for another forum group.
