Try Zero Tolerance (like the 0450) - tough and smooth. Hogue Deka offers great value. If Benchmade feels overpriced, these are reliable picks. Personally, I love the Spyderco Para 3 LW - carries easy and works hard.I own a few different Spyderco knives, Benchmades and a microtech folder.
I also own several Kershaw's and I've dabbled in the China knives from kizer, cavivi etc
Who makes your favorite edc?
I don't typically carry my Spydercos to often because the shape makes them harder to carry in my pocket. I have a bug out I like to carry but it definitely isn't a work horse. Doesn't feel sturdy enough to be a work horse.
I have a Kershaw heist and am iridium that I like to carry. I bought the microtech to try it out but it's pretty bulky. The kizer and civivis are ok but I feel like in some ways they're a step back.
I also have an off the grid filter that I like.
I bought the new adira mini from Benchmade it's ok as well.
I can't seem to find the perfect carry knife. I noticed lately people have been saying Benchmade has lost their way a little bit in the quality dept. I like the bug out but definitely feel like it wasn't a great value.
I feel like I appreciate Kershaw quite a bit over all good service and a decent product. I'm having a hard time justifying more expensive brands. What your favorite edc? Which company do you prefer over all the best and why?
