Which company makes your favorite edc

I'm a handgun guy and Spyderco reminds me of Glock. Not much to look at but they are so good.
I dunno man, Glock is kinda behaving like Apple these days. Selling you the same product in 2025 (gen 5, 6, whatever), market it like it’s the best thing since sliced bread, sheesh. All you need is the 1911.

*runs away from the Glock fanboys

Which company makes your favorite edc ?

That's not easy to answer , for me . Varies a lot . 😕

But in recent times , if I carry a fixed , it is usually a DMC , @David Mary

I will often carry a large Cold Steel folder , along with a smaller lightweight Spyderco .

But ...other brands go into the mix, at will or whim , so I've got no simple answer . 🤷‍♂️
Spydercos and Cold Steel. The yin and yang of the pocket knife world.

Apologies for my previous off topic comments. Sometimes I can’t resist making terrible jokes. Knife discussion it is.

Opinel, usually a 6 or 7.
Victorinox, usually an Alox Electrician.
Sometimes a third folder, an Okapi Biltong or a Buck Bantam,
I might bring a small fixed blade, David Mary, Dalibor, mini Skrama, or one of a number of small Anzas.

Well first off: I don;t have a "favorite EDC". I have an EDC. I "Carry". it "Every Day".

My EDC is and has been for some 20-25 years, a Leatherman Wave. I have had one or another version of their Wave as they changed the model. I currently carry a Wave Plus whenever I put on my pants along with my wallet and keys. I am mulling over the newer ARC and Alpha variations, but still favor the Plus model.

I own, carry and use other knives, but not every day. The Wave is my Every Day Carry in the narrowest sense of the phrase.

My favorite EDC is my Emerson Mini Sheepdog, but my best two EDC's are Spyderco's. I haven't bought any new folders in a couple years, if I were in need of purchasing a new knife with today's prices I would definitely go Cold Steel.
