Which handgun is "The One" you'd never ever part with?

My Ruger MkI, it's been in my family since Ruger first made this model, my Oldman paid somethin' like $69 new back in the late 60s, early 70s NIB, at least 100K rounds have exited the barrel and never a misfire or stove pipe, add to that the fact that the accuracy is DNO, you couldn't ask for a better gun.:)

I'll never sell it. :)

For me, a Glock 19...which is painful to say. I love my 1911's and I have some pre-lock Smith's that are beautiful. But if I had to pick one, it would be the 19. Reliability+capacity+no maintenence+carryability (if that's a word).

I used to have an SP101 with the 2 1/4" barrel, but I sold it several years ago in order to help finance my acquisition of a pre-ban second generation Glock 19....and I've never regretted it. :)

Tough question!....I would have to flip a coin between my Glock 26 and S&W 642.

For me, it is my Kahr Arms Elite 98 9 mm. It has tritium night sights. I LOVE this gun!!

When I get another Kimber 1911 again, THAT will be THE gun. (I am still kicking myself for ever selling my Kimber Custom Compact!!) I also very badly want a full house custom gun from CT Brian!!! THAT is my dream gun!!

This is what I tote most times. Taurus 85. Would love to have a ruger sp101 .

I'm a Glock'aholic. :o

Though I have several other pistols that my heirs will enjoy. :)

I have to agree--no collection just one Glock in .40 cal.it fits, it shoots, I almost can't miss...who could ask for anything more....Steve

Springfield XD .357sig, took some effort to get my hands on this one and I think that gives it a little more personal value, plus it shoots good, feels great and has its own fireworks show :D

My CZ P-01.

Until earlier this year, I would have said my COLT Ser 70 MKIV .45ACP, but dammit things got really tight and I had to get rid of something. Easiest to sell, so I had to let it go. It still pains me to think about it. Bought it new in 1974.

mine is a para p14 .45 acp

it would be my kahr P9 9MM probably, hard choice though.

the choice would be between my SIG P220 .45, my kimber ultra carry 1911, the P9 and my glock 23/32, fine pistols all.

My Baikal Makarov in 9X18 caliber. I paid $165 for it brand new and fitted it out with Pierce rubber grips. It's comfortable in the hand, a lot of fun to shoot, and ammo for it is cheap. On the other hand, I also love my Ruger Redhawk in .44 Magnum with 7-1/2 inch barrel, fitted out with a scope and Hogue finger grooved grips for hunting and holstered in an Uncle Mike's ballistic nylon shoulder holster with weather flap. It's a hand cannon, obviously not a carry gun, but a great survival weapon in the bush. I paid $300 for it brand new in 1985 when we were living in Anchorage, AK! My daughter scrimshawed imitation ivory grips for it with a panther on one side and a cougar on the other side. With those grips against the deep blued steel, it's a thing of beauty.

The handgun I would never part with is this one...... My FN Browning High Power which my Dad purchased new for me in 1981. I edc'd it in South Africa during some really bad political strife and it kept me safe.
I retired it from daily carry in '91 for a Glock 19 and I customized it shortly after. It now shoots military loads with hardly more felt recoil than a .22:)
