Which handgun is "The One" you'd never ever part with?

My Freedom Arms Casull. I love that one, took a while to save up for it, though...

I have a couple 10/22s my wife got me that will be my sons someday and a Colt Defender I carry most of the time.

My Ruger GP-100 .357 Mag. 3", fixed combat sights - I can hit targets from my hip! Love that Gun.

Gibby

gibby,

i have a 6" model, which came with the adjusting sights, and i'm curious about swapping for fixed...

Not sure if it is the same type but my father just sold one that had fixed sights in DAO,I think it was a highway patrol model.

I also very much love my S&W 342PD. That is a gun I would NEVER get rid of either. In fact, I don't have any guns that I WOULD get rid of.

I'm real partial to my Bersa Thunder .380...... Not a lot of firepower, but it hasn't jammed once, no matter how fast I pull the trigger and it conceals well.

CZ-75B, stainless, 16+1 9mm capacity with the standard mags, eats any ammo I feed it and is the most accurate and reliable auto pistol I've ever owned or handled.

Would like a set of nicer grips on it though.

I thought I'd had a favorite gun until this week when I received a HK standard 45 I'd ordered. It was love at first sight even before I fired it. Uses 10 round mags and will handle standard, plus p, and plus p plus ammo. Uses an easily replaceable O ring to home in the barrel muzzle and a high impact plastic bushing over the recoil spring for the slide to impact when it opens under recoil so no metal to metal battering. Also has ambi mag and slide releases and the mag releases are a part of the rear of the trigger guard. Another plus is recharageable night sights which are slick and both the double and single action trigger pulls are great.

I took it out in the desert to shoot today and was really impressed. I fired mild to hot rounds, semi wads, round nose, and radical HPs from 180 to 230 grain and never a belch. It just shot them all and was dead on accurate. So this has now become a gun I WON'T part with.

This one...my brand new Ruger SR-9 9mm....Love it....Fixing to add a Streamlight TLR-1 or TLR-3 to it.

Two weeks ago I would have said my Colt Pony .380, that was before I picked up a Kahr PM9. This is a sweet pistol. Can be carried in a pocket and shoots +P 9mm like it is going out of style. I shot my 200 "break in" rounds without a single hiccup! Paper plate groups at 20 yards with rapid fire. This is a definate keeper!

Glocks seem to come and go for me, so I decided to invest in something classic that lasts: Wilson Combat CQB Elite in .45 ACP. Shoots like a dream, makes a big hole and is very well made. Definitely the keeper for me, but I would still like to find a good S&W 686 pre-lock to go with it.
