Which handgun is "The One" you'd never ever part with?

I own more than a few, but the very last to go would be my S&W M-41.

That's getting down to the real nitty gritty.:D Not 2 or 3 or 4 but the very last to give up, or the first to save, whatever.

H&K Elite, .45 ACP,with light and laser.

My old, stainless, 5" bull barrel, Ruger MK-II.

I think it's the only one I can afford to shoot now. ;)

I dont have any handguns anymore as my government took them off me but I did have a Pardini P40 in 40cal and it was the most accurate out of the box gun I have ever seen. If I ever get another handgun it will be a Pardini P40 which is now called a GT40 made for IPSC and defence.

I tend to keep all of my guns, but the one I won't get rid of is my H&K P30 V3. No other gun has ever fit my hand like this one. The interchangeable grip panels and backstraps are great. In addition, I shoot it as well as any other gun I've ever owned, and it's super reliable. A very close second goes to my CZ P-01.

Did the Australian government even pay for the guns they took away?

Yes Jill they did pay rather handsomly but we had no choice but to hand in any banned handgun. They limited calibers to .357 ( 40 and 45 are banned) and mags are limited to 10 rounds and barrels must be longer than 4". You could hand in all your guns (even ones not banned) and loading gear and they took your handgun licence of you for a period of 5 years.

I like this .357, too. But I'd still keep my Ruger SP101 over it. In fact a lady at work is trying to give me 400 for this. But, I don't know if that's enough or not and I'm not crazy about selling it anyway. Retail these now is a mind blowing 798!

I also really like that gun (S&W).....I would not give it up for $400......I wouldn't give it up!

Although I really like the above S&W, I find the SP101 easier to shoot 357 from. The above S&W just doesn't have enough wait to dampen the recoil enough for me, the SP101 has just enough weight that the 357 is bearable.....either way, I like both!

I don't think she's gonna get it. :D

My Kimber Pro CDP. Unfortunately I sold it to make the housepayment about 2 years ago. :grumpy: All the other guns put the meat in the freezer. I should have let the bank take the house. Gonna hafta have another 1911 soon, though. I shot one last night at a friends house and I remembered......

.....Christmas is coming!
