Which knife that you own came with the sharpest blade?

I don´t own a custom yet (the first one´s on its way).

My CRKT M16-03Z came very sharp outta the box.

My Kershaw Chive.

You will note that I don't own a single knife that cost in excess of $70 bucks... so I don't know about MTs or Doziers, or CRs.

As far as factory production knives go, I would have to say that the Spyderco knives that I have bought are virtually all hair popping sharp, sharper than any other knife that I can remember, and that includes the three BenchMades and the four REKATS that I have. Now, the Camillus Madd Maxx 5.5 comes very close to the best Spydercos.

First place - Microtech LCC, Amphibian, Hawk

Close Second place - Spyderco Lil Temperance, Military, Salsa, Perrin, Moran

Distant Third place - Camillus Maxx

Last - Benchmade

allof these were very sharp out of box.in no particular order.
benchmade outbounder

All of my Spydercos were sharp right out of the box, but my newest purchase, a Centofante III (VG-10), was the sharpest.

Allen.

Custom : DDR Madd Maxx
Emerson CQC-6
Production : Any Kershaw Onion line. ( Vapor , Chive, Scallion, Boa etc. . )
CS voyager
Buck : 110

Production - Camillus CUDA Maxx - sharpest that any knife I have ever owned has come out of box.
Custom - Neil Blackwood Small Hybrid - sharpest custom.

Production folders, BM AFCK, and William Henry P-10 Lancet, also my Spydercard was impressively sharp.

Custom, Bud Nealy Aikuchi

That would have to be my (FRN, VG-10) Spyderco Endura. That one is/was scary-SHARP right out of the box!

My SPYDERCO Rescue in VG-10 came hair poppin sharp..
...so did my SPYDERCO Native in CPM-440v.

Of the brands that I purchase, Spyderco and Benchmade come the sharpest. I have had examples of both that were scary sharp and some that were less than satisfactory. I can remember the number of times I have had cuts from new knives though. The worst cut that required stitches was a Benchmade Ascent.
