Which knife that you own came with the sharpest blade?

I know, it's strange, weird and downright wrong. Some may even call me names. But out of my five Spydies including a VG-10 Endura, Gerber’s, Bucks, and SAKs and several others.........The sharpest out of the box I have received was a   AUS-6 Kershaw small liner lock:rolleyes:  . I know, call me a heretic and trader, but that is my experience.

BTW, I never have run across another Kershaw as sharp as that one, nor have I been able to return that edge to the knife. Although, I can put a lot keener edge on the Endura than the Kershaw has now.

Edited because my brain is full. May I be excused?

Production: Marbles Woodcraft

Semi production: Chris Reeve Sebenza

Custom: Ed Fowler Pronghorn

A.T. Barr puts a wicked edge on his blades too!

Production: Sere 2000 and MicroTech Amphibian were the two sharpest. I could never get them that sharp.

Custom: Mike Snody

Production: Marbles and Spyderco

Custom: Ray Kirk

My Dozier came sharp, but the Raker blade was unreal. Love that 52100.:)

I don't hae the time to read all the comments, but..........
I will agee with those who say "Sebenza" :)

I believe that the kershaw scallion is a tad sharper than the spyderco delica (in vg-10). I just recently got them both and the scallion surprised me the most with its sharpness.
Yozuri.

I think the sharpest out - of - the - box knife I've had was my Spyderco SS Pro - Grip. That thing was scary sharp. I don't cut myself much, but the Pro - Grip bit me more than once. I have it in my pocket right now (along with a small Sebenza). My Pro - Grip doesn't have that factory edge anymore, but it's still plenty sharp.

Ixnay the Kershaw, I just recieved a Calypso Jr. in the mail via trade, and I believe it is a touch sharper than the Kershaw was.:D :D :D

Production: AFCK in M2 steel, Spyderco Delica, Marbles Bison
Custom: Dozier Yukon Skinner

However, some of my knives are sharpened by me to be ridiculously sharp!

I'd have to go with Spyderco too, while a MT Option II was THE MOST scary sharp knife I've ever handled period. That one could have shaved the hair off of a gnat's a$$!

I was actually disappointed in my first Sebenza. It came from the factory with a rather dull edge, and wouldn't scrape the hair off my arm.

Number one would be my small kershaw liner. (it's a piece of junk now but the factory edge was incredible)

Number two would be my G10 Police.

The sharpest knife out of the box was my Emerson Commander.

The second runner up would be my Syderco Wegner.

Most knives can be sharpened or reprofiled to become superduper sharp, but it is nice receiving a knife in that condition.
I've had a few dissapointments in how a knife arrived but most do get to me with a keen edge.

Production stuff,
Benchmade, sharp, THIS is recent knives, they have REALLY improved in this area recently!
Chris Reeve knives, sharp
Spyderco, sharp
