Bob Fine Beaver Tail that  I have one too, No.76 actually. It's yellowed and mellowed very nicely despite only being on my desk since 2007.

Here's two together: William Nowill Equal End, totally sunk joints, great snap but 2 blades broken, 1 remaining a sliver plus nail file. Forum Knife 13 by GEC.

Mine's number 50 Will. I've seen pics of yours. It would be a twin to mine had I left the Spey blade, but I made mine into a drop point.

NICE Will, congratulations

Seeming as you've resurrected this thread, I may as well post the Ryalls Sleeveboard I'll be carrying tomorrow ;)

Admirable Jack! Is that bone, ivory or French cell? That, lozenge(??) shield really suits the frame.

Regards, Will

Here's a white knife I recently acquired, a gift from my daughter who lives in Madrid. She bought it from a Toledo cutler named Mariano Zamorano. It's 4" long, closed, and he called the covers "fibra" (fiber).

Nice looking pattern that one GT. I think it must be some type of micarta or delrin. don't understand Spanish though....but fibra is probably a collective term for synthetics??

Six-month necro! That's even more drastic than the Barlow thread I just resurrected. :D

I'll offer up the few white natural-handled knives I have, and one might not even be white enough to qualify. I'll remove it if Will deigns it unworthy.

I'm not sure if the original color was darker or if the mark side darkened up over the years. It is clean.

I'm not 100% sure that this knife qualifies; I believe it to be bone but I'm not willing to damage the knife to test it. This may also have started out darker than it is now.

No solo shots of the pile side on this one.

I'll throw this whittler into the mix for now. I have four or five that fit the theme so will get a group shot once I get back to the house.

That's a great little Schrade, Vaporstang.

Come to think of it, I might have more "white hot" knives after all...

Are we counting MOP knives?

I don't know if Nifebrite technically qualifies, but the white-ish color it takes on in daylight is what I like most about it as a handle material.

Thanks, Will. :) I'm sure it's not micarta, since there's no visible "grain" or "mesh" or whatever term is used to describe the fibrous nature of the "substrate" (linen, paper, canvas, denim, etc.) The handle material is quite "monolithic", and I'd guess some kind of plastic or nylon, maybe. I think you're probably correct, Will, that in a knife handle context, "fibra" may refer to synthetic handles.

Thanks, GT! I haven't tried any more scrimshaw yet. I need to pick up some more white bone RR's for it, I think. Pretty sure I couldn't bring myself to scrimshaw the TC.
