Who actually carries a Buck 110 daily?

The Buck 110 is my work knife and will normally come off only if I am crawling to work in a crawl space. If I get forced into one of those meeting with management it goes in the pocket or the 186 pulls duty.

yea today a lot of folks are too civlised to understand
it is a heartage and practical thing
beats me
being retired i carry a much smaller one edc

Man, that titanium handled 110 brings back memories. They went under their own name didn't they? I used to want one of those so bad, any chance buck still offers them through the custom shop with the high grade stainless steels?
Yoda,
The titanium version of the 110, which is the 560, can normally be found on a normal day. They go for somewhere around $60. You may have to wait a bit longer to find one with a premium steel.

I don't know if it counts but when I'm in uniform, I have always carried a 110 on my gun belt (small town Police Detective). Most of the "older" guys still do. The younger crowd has gone to the multi tool look.
I was with a "large" town police department for eight years and carried a 112 on my belt always. Ironically, I wanted a 110, but the 112 was cheaper and I'm a tightwad. :o As it turns out, the 112 was an ideal work knife. Not to take away from the 110.

Below is a pic of a 560 titanium blade:

I Carry a Buck 110 everyday, the model I prefer is the Cabela's Alaskan Guide with a thumb stud on the blade. As an electrical contractor it comes in handy on a daily basis.

I have several 110's in my carry rotation but on any given day I prefer a 112 or alpha dorado in my pocket.

But on the weekends I always have a 110 on my belt.

I have the 07 BCCI BC 110 on my belt right now...But I think I am going to rotate it with one of my 112s....Im temted to use a NS chip flint droppoint with stag 112 I got from 334 but that one is too nice for every day ,Dress up Buck for sure!

Goose, man, what happened to your face??!! :D

My standard EDC is either my 110FG or the 112.

I was bored Woody. So I went to Sweden.
Gotta look purty in case I see ya peeps at the BCCI gig at the Buck plant in 2008...unlikey...but just in case, I wanted you horny toads to have something to look forward to :)

I carry the Cabela's Alaskan Guide now......but I truly think there's a 419 in my future as EDC.

You only live once, after all.

It's is kept in the position you choose via a small hex screw (supplied with a wrench).
Sorry for being a pain but i have another question,is the One Hand Bandit ambidextrous?
I can't really tell from the Smokey mountain pics.
Yeah it know it can be mounted either way but i'm ambidextrous and i tend to switch hands a lot.
Is the face of the button textured on both sides/ends?
Once its attached can you easily open it with your left and right hand?
Thanks!

Hey Ollie...

No. It is not ambidextrous in the sense that you want. It needs to be removed and flipped over for the knurled side to be set up right.
You can use the smooth end (side with the set screw) to open the blade. Takes just a bit more effort...not much though.

Here are different views in a pic I took for ya. Also in the pic is the wrench that comes with each OAB.

When Smokey Mountain gets them back in stock i'll be ordering a few.

Very nice 110's by the way, love that stag.
And that Damascus is sweet too!
Hopefully the buck custom shop will have a new supply of Damascus 110 blades soon.
I'm figuring on ordering a custom 110 sometime next year.
Woohoo!
