thought its just a name for the coloration of the bone,Appaloosa bone is used, so it has been proven viable.
did you ever get a CITES or other Certification with your knife from an US Knife maker or Cutlery?I have to trust that the makers of them followed all of the Laws at the Time .
This is the very reason we no longer have giraffes in North America!I read that giraffe bone contains a hallucinogen that makes you see giraffes. If you have enough LEGAL giraffe bone to try it out Iād be very interested to hear about the experience.
Interesting, does one smoke it, ingest it or snort it? Iām scared of needles so thatās a no go, that and suppositorys.I read that giraffe bone contains a hallucinogen that makes you see giraffes. I mis remembered it, I looked it up and it is a drink called umm nyolokh made from giraffe liver and bone marrow.Interesting, does one smoke it, ingest it or snort it? Iām scared of needles so thatās a no go, that and suppositorys.![]()
I am all for measures, including bans, that preserve endangered species and deprive poachers of the money that motivates them
BUT, 2 notable exceptions"
1.If it is an old knife that doesn't reduce the number of animals pr enrich any poacher then that's a rare gem and legit in my book; and
2. If it's made by people on the land in a traditional small scale way, like the Inuit or Metis or Deh Cho or Newfies ( it's not about race), and that includes bear and seal because these people are far more in tune with the environment and respect the animals more than any scientist or politician down south.
Try getting a certification or exemption for Narwal from Qanaaq Greenland. On paper it may be possible. In reality, there's no customs control up there.ad 1.: thats no problem because you can get CITES certifications for your pre-ban material and you can get these certification for material from endangered animals when they were raised on farms for example (there are more exceptions).
ad 2,: Inuits got the vested right! The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples states in Article 32: āIndigenous peoples have the right to determine and develop priorities and strategies for the development or use of their lands or their territories and other resourcesā.
ok guys, i dont know if some of you are not interested, or just bored...
why you bomb the thread with this nonsense?
