Who carries a lighter, but doesn't smoke?

I occasionly carry a lighter, even if I don't smoke, dont ask me why.

P.S. What's everyones favorite lighter?
 
I used to smoke...alot. I used to carry cheapo lighters when I smoked because I always lent them out or lost them. Now that I don't smoke I carry a Titanium Zippo. Go figure. :rolleyes:
 
I usually carry a disposable inside my coin purse, and/or a Colibri in my neck lanyard under my shirt.

I smoke a cigar a day in the evening, but normally use some other lighter for it, I own several good ones, when I run out of disposables I buy a box (50 per box I believe) which may last me a year or more, I have to tweak them to work OK at Mexico city´s altitude.

I like my single flame not too expensive SST Colibri (bought duty free in South America), for liquid fuel lighters I prefer my old Imco over my Zippo.
 
I don't smoke but i carry a windmill delta lighter. I rarely use it but always jump at the opportunity if someone needs a light for a cigarette or someone needs their bunsen burner lit up.

I do feel naked without it in my pocket. I guess after so long carrying certain things in my pocket you really notice it when something is not in there.
 
I carry a zippo in my pocket, and a cheap but effective (it melts pennies) 2500 degree pocket torch in my backpack, and I don't smoke. Like a knife, you never know when you're gonna need it.
 
Lighter, pocketknife, flashlight, and signal whistle.

I can usually get through most anything with these four items, and I always have 'em on me, in one form or another.
 
Just a cheap torch in shape of a gun from ebay. For those of you who don't use your zippo frequently... how often do you have to refill.... also how high do you keep your which?
 
I carry a Colibri torch as part of my EDC. Never smoked. I use the torch to melt 550 cord ends, light candles, backpacking stoves, anything that needs to be lit. I'm a closet pyromaniac. :D
 
I've carried one for years. Mostly to light the occasional birthday candle, sometimes a hottie's cigarette. Got the cheap-o from Quik Trip that has the slide-side on it. Works pretty good, but needs to be used more to keep the gunk out of it.

My answer to the obvious question "why do YOU have a lighter?"

I carry a Zippo or Bic and dont smoke. I use if for paracord, firecrackers, candles, fires, anything. I hope to get a good butane lighter soon. I guess I better use the search function...
 
I carry a lighter from either Loves, Pilot, Or a Duke/Dutchess Shop. They are cheap and worl every time.
 
Dont carry one on me, but have one in the suv; just incase i ever get stuck in cold weather and need to light a campfire to survive. must be the old boy scout in me, the whole be perpared thing.
 
brushed stainless zippo on right hip in front of fixed blade, don't smoke but everyone at work keeps losing or forgetting thier lighters.

top it off once a week

also have a butane torch in the work bag(1300deg F, soldering torch)... matches and a mini bic in my BOB, along with ferro rod, magnesium and flint.
 
Small classic black Zippo. Love playing with flames. :eek: Kidding aside. Use it for sealing paracord, lighting incense and candles, and for that occassional "...do you have a light?" encounter. :)
