Who carries a lighter, but doesn't smoke?

I carry (1) a mini-Bic in my jeans pocket, (2) a keyring firesteel and striker combo on my neck lanyard, (3) another keyring firesteel and striker combo on a keyring, (4) an EMS Windmill ligher on another keyring, and (5) larger firesteel and striker combos in my shoulder bag. Don't smoke, either.
 
I don't smoke but I do carry a mini-Bic everyday.
It's small and weighs next to nothing, and at my fingertips is one of man's greatest tools.



And who knows, I might decide to "go postal" one day!
 
I do smoke, but I started carying a Zippo well before I started smoking. If I ever quit, I'll keep carying a Zippo.

I dont' carry one, but I've got 2 or 3 in the truck and a few at home. 1 in the BOB along with matches, and a blastmatch.
 
I carry a disposable piezo lighter. I don't smoke, nor would I encourage anyone else to, let alone a cute girlie.

I also carry a ferro rod with scraper and a fair amount of tinder, as backup. I don't believe in matches. The wind blows them out.
 
I carry the Wal Mart Outdoorsman wanna be. TOB9595 gave it to me over the summer. I use it to burn all my para cord. Best lighter ever. I would estimate about 2000 ignitions and have been refilled about 100 times I guess.
 
yep - bic disposibles- one in my altoids tin, one in my backup altoids tin that is in my pack, and another in the pack, plus one in each car
 
I carry a firesteel on my keychain, along with a small piece of fatwood, and several firestarting tools in my PSK. I don't smoke, and I don't light people's cigarettes for them.

I carry a ranger flint rod on my keys, a swedish firesteel on my SAK with a spy capsule of vaseline/cotton balls. I dont carry a lighter every day but, on a night out WILL carry a Zippo. I WILL light cigarettes for young ladies in clubs, bars etc but Im always secretly disapointed that they smoke, I think Ive smoked about 3 cigs in my life, had such a sore throat the next day! LOL

I carry a Zippo but don't smoke. When asked I have a couple of replies.
1. I'm a good boy scout - be prepared.
2. I need it for all those other things other people wrote about - campfires, para cord, lighting a ladies cigar, etc.
But the reason I get the most looks for is:
3.responsibility - I tell them and I will give away my light(zippo) to any young person who is willing to agree that for one year they will;
take care of it .
Always carry it when appropriate
keep it filled - a zippo will go dry
remember its a tool and tool are not to be played with
never borrow it to any one - not even a best friend
never use it for anything but legitmate purposes
Yea i've lost a couple of friends? over this
but made an impact on a couple others.
Its funny to have some 14 year old teen walk by me in the mall and in their plam of their hand show me a zippo
We are not doing that enough in todays world.

I don't know the brand, but I often carry a small butane lighter , and it gets used quite a bit when I do.
