Who carries a Stockman

Been looking high and low for a missing Jack Knife (I know its around this house somewhere!) In one of my cubbie holes I rediscovered a 4" Stockman that I had purely forgotten - a dark green bone FIGHT'N ROOSTER. OH

Very nice. I really like the coloring of the green bone

Very pretty knife OH.

Love that FnR Old Hunter, what a great looking knife!

I seem to carry a stockman more days than not, alternating with muskrats and Congress with jacks in my coin pocket. Little (Old Timer 108OT, Case, Boker, HnR) to big (Buck, Case, Moore Maker etc), there are so many I like that I have trouble deciding some times :D

I have two Bucks (301 & 303), but when I carry a stockman, it's usually this one.

Thanks again, Lambertiana.

Thanks for the compliments gents, it is pretty to me too. Deskil, I have an 8OT and a 34OT that get pocket time with me as part of my users. When I use them I realize what we have lost - great knives weren't they? OH

I don't have a Stockman pattern in my stable but y'all convinced me with your wonderful photos (cheeky rascals! :D) I wanted a medium Case but my vendor only had 'em in stainless so I went with the big boy in CV.

Yessir, truly great knives. What we lost was much more than just affordable quality.

You'll like it. I like the full-size Case stockman. Lots and lots of work in it with the big blades and solid feeling in hand. And CV is excellent steel as well!

This Case is in my EDC rotation

Now that is a sexy knife! :)

My fiance just picked this one up for me as a Christmas present. Haven't had a chance to carry it much yet but I love the yellow bone on it. I need to get some better pictures of it too as this one was taken at night and I couldn't get the right lighting at all.

Here is a couple of my favorites and are actually the first GEC knives I ever purchased. This picture was taken right after I bought them. #66 Calf Ropers

You were correct, HH! The Large Stockman is an excellent folder and I'm quite pleased with it. It is a bit larger than what I typically like to carry, but it will certainly see some pocket time. I dig how it matches my Small Texas Jack with the jigged amber bone and pinched square bolsters...

Nice matched pair you have there, Timberweasel! The jigging looks very nice, and I like that dark area in the middle. Lots of character there.

This large Moore Maker gets some pocket time.

And this Tree Brand is my most recent acquisition, in appaloosa bone.

I haven't had a chance to take my own picture but I got one of these last month.

It is my 3rd Case medium stockman and by far, my favorite. The fit & finish is the best of any Case knife I own and the G10 is grippy as well as beautiful. Furthermore, I prefer the awl to the spey as I find it more useful.
