Who carries a Stockman

This one in yellow delrin with CV blades has been with me for a long time. I carried it every day from 1998 up until about 2005 when I started splitting time between it and a Victorinox Executive. Those were the only two pocket knives I used until I found this place...

I just got this one in Chestnut Bone with CV blades and I'm already really liking it. Great fit and finish, really nice matching bone. Just like my Chestnut Bone Sway Back Jack. This is the 63032 with a pen instead of a spey. I like this blade setup quite a bit better. I dulled the pen blade on purpose, and keep the clip and sheepsfoot super sharp. I probably use the sheepsfoot the most on any stockman.

Carrying this, this week. :)

Never was a fan of the stockman pattern until I traded for this Schrade 108OT Junior a few weeks ago. It's a great size. It's what I've carried since I got it. I like it enough I just bought a Craftsman 9473. These are great knives for very little money.

Hoping the scales last. Both are cracked through just below the center pin. Should be ok and not crack more.

I am sorry I didn't notice the cracks Bill,I will gladly refund your money & the return shipping cost.Email sent.:o

It's fine. The pin should prevent anything worse. As is, the knife was still a good deal for how little it cost me shipped. It's in my pocket now.

Thanks much --- for the knife and for your offer to take it back. It's still a keeper as far as I'm concerned.

My only regret is not grabbing a couple more of the knives you offered. Please let me know when you offload others.

My 9473 has had cracks under the center pins for as long as I've had it, and probably much, much longer. Doubt it will ever be an issue under normal use.

I agree it is a useful little knife. But be careful, it was the one that started me on a stockman acquisition spree!

I grew up in the situation where a stockman was the "normal" knife. Deer hunting required addition of belt knife. Everything else is a comparison to that 'normal'. I will admit, anymore I am abnormal quite a lot. 300

Do you mind me asking what it actually is? - I don't recognise it offhand.

It's a Frontier. I believe they were made by Camillus for Imperial. They are really nice knives. I have a couple of them and may just start collecting them.

Thanks for the info Protourist..

Here's my couple of Case knives.
The second is a walnut bone large stockman. I think this is now discontinued?. I bought it NOS.
