Who else EDCs a fixedblade?

OK I dug through all my old threads I've participated in and it was made by Randy Nance aka rwn2000.

Occasionally pocket a small fixed blade.

I have also a Ka-bar tdi that I have carried from time to time. I know it is an sd-specific knife, but I see no reason whiy it could not be used for other purposes. I also carry an Enzo necker with micarta handle, depending of my mood. That one has seen quite a lot of use and is therefore sctrached.

I did EDC a small FB but I stopped carrying it but... I'm going to try it again because Jason Wilder made me a cool skeleton style Titanium kwaito. I'll get a pic up soon. It's thin, light weight and very sharp.

Very nice blade. I like it a lot!

I usually carry Joe Watson hidden key on me . Right now I'm trying out the Buck boot knife . We'll see how it does .

Stay safe

Recently acquired this (Grail) Randall and plan to put many miles on her before I pass her on to my kids.

I used to EDC (on my person) a KA-BAR Becker BK24. Excellent knife! But I moved to a part of the country that frowns on fixed blades, so I had to go back to a folder. If I hadn't moved I'd sill be rocking that BK24, for sure.

I do, often.

Those are just a few I had pictures of. I carry lots of fixed blades. My mantra used to be "if it ain't fixed, it's broken" for many years.
Carried this one today:

I wish I could but... California :thumbdn:

It must be UNconcealed here in plain view :thumbdn:

Highly urbanized cities it is just not possible :thumbdn:

Not possible?! Why not? If it's legal, who gives a damn what you carry on your person?
Bottom line is: if something is legal, it is YOUR decision to carry or not. If it is based on, and driven by, other people's perception of what you SHOULD carry, that's on you.
I say carry what you want (so long as it's legal) and let the general public get used to seeing it, and the fact that you aren't about to shank them at every turn.

I carry an izula. Just in the front pocket. Sometimes in the side pocket of carpenters pants. I don't use the belt clip, it makes it bulky.

Anybody else loves their CRKT Minimalist? Great necker, my favorite after the Spyderco ARK...

It can even chop and baton (we're talking thick, tough carrots here! Not flimsy, thin veggies), it's extremely lightweight and sooooo easy to touch up and get razor sharp.

I think the Minimalist series has converted many to the necker knife world, and they are IMO the greatest value as far as EDCable mini fixed blades nowadays.

It makes me want to get my hands on a true Alan Folts!
