Who else hates pocket clips?

You should totally put a clip on the lanyard.

This is exactly what I was thinking, but in a serious vein. I would have to go to the gadget section of a hardware store to find something, but I think you could find something usuable for this that isn't big, and that paracord could be attached to. I'll have to look and see if I can find something. This would be a great idea if something will work.

Sometimes I clip and other times I don't. Just depends on the size of the knife, style of pants and where I might be at the time.

without the pocket clip on my Kershaw, i don't think i'd consistently carry a knife. The pocket clip keeps it firmly fixed in a predictable and easily reachable location

having it rattling around in my pocket would drive me nuts

I used to carry an Case Trapper, but that got old after the first 10 years.

Sometimes I use em, sometimes I don't. It depends on the knife, my pants (or lackthereof :p), and what I'm doing.

I think it only makes sense to offer a pocket clip for folks. I prefer function over art too. I like Ken Onion and his designs but his clips stink. I don't want a modern sculpture, I just want to hang the blade on my jeans pockets for goodness sake. The 4 way option is nice too for the tipup/down/righty/lefty choices.

Based off my understand of Ca. law, the clip makes my knife an unconcealed weapon as it is readily seen. I like my clips.

According to CA state law, a folding knife can be completely concealed. Only fixed blades have to be worn openly. But, this isnt the place for law talk.

Here's my last pocket clip gripe.... I know most people seem to prefer them, so it's not that big of a deal as long as I can remove them. I do find it annoying when the maker cuts a groove into the scales on top of drilling the holes. But, I've gotten over it.

Oh I seriously think you could make it work and that people would buy it. Maby work it into a square knot at the end of a 1-3 inch string of paracord.

I dopn;t carry a knife unless it has a clip - all my clipless knives are in my BOB

some have a clip, some don't , i don't hate them i just like to carry mine folders in my pants small pocket under my belt and sometimes i need a clip it depends, mostly i don't like them .
