Who still carries a Case Knife?

Update; so I got myself a couple of polishing discs for my bench drill and some polishing paste and managed to do away with the gray milky-ish surface on my Case stockman’s sheepsfoot blade. Additionally, I finally managed to get a really sharp edge with my Work Sharp pocket sharpener (turned out I used a too small angle previously). So now it is more or less mirror polished, and shaves my arm hair. Mission accomplished!

We're in San Antonio for the weekend, giving the grand girls a fun escape from the drudgery of summer vacation...
I have two Case knives with me for the trip... the yellow sowbelly stockman, and the yellow 32087 pen knife...
I snapped a quick pic that turned out a little blurry, but didn't want to stand there with the open knife... might make the tourists nervous.
I took another one at the little display of flags... the pen stayed in the pocket.




These are the girls on their first visit to the Alamo....

Yeah.... they told us no flash photography.... we didn't use the flash... gotta follow the rules!
Coming back home, we stopped in Austin so the girls could see the Capitol building... it was open, so we toured through it.
I was surprised to find out that carrying concealed is allowed there, if you check in at the front desk and show your LTC... isn't Texas great?

I've just been calling it Pickle Green, because I really don't know.

I have a Case Peanut on my desk, and carry one in my coin pocket when wearing jeans. When our oldest grandchild graduated high school a few years ago, we started a new family tradition. As an additional graduation gift, they get a new Case Peanut in their favorite color, and Mimi and Grandpa get the same knife that we are giving them. The first one was Caribbean Blue, and the two that graduated this year got Red G-10. There more to go ...then Lord willing it will be on to the great-grandkids.
