Who still carries a Case Knife?

Got a few Caramel Kirinite, one of them is not in this pic. Having a hard time getting a good pic. Either too much reflection or not enough. They look great in person though, much better than these.

Attended the “baby reveal party” this past Sunday evening for my daughter and son-in-law. My daughter is going to have a baby boy in November, our first grandchild (and we are stoked!). I carried this 1974 Case 6318, as far as I can tell it is NOS (I bought it used at and antique mall). This knife will be put aside to give to my grandson when the right time comes (which better come fast cause I’ll be 68 when he‘s born!). Once I put the beautiful 1974 away I dropped my favorite 1976 EDC Case 6318 back in my pocket, it’s been there since Monday, except for another special (but non-Case) pocketknife on Independence Day. A very happy Old Hunter!
Congrats, Bruce! Got six myself--all girls! But they like knives.

I've got a few more Case knives on the way, but until then, this Yellow Synthetic CV Copperhead is the only one I've got.

I see you're getting into blueberry season as well! Great picture.

This will likely be my "final" post of this little monthly mini-series. Was out with the dogs around lunch time and the blueberries are starting to ripen! We have to pick them quickly, as the wildlife just goes crazy for them. I've thought about it before and just put it off, but at some point I might have to start seriously considering a net 😝

Below is my '74 Case 6332. Love this knife, been carrying it for months on end by now. Just lovely to look at and lovely to use. If you can get a hold of one of the early 32 patterns with the half stops before they reworked the tooling, I'd highly suggest it. I'm partial to the 3 blade stockman (the only stockman I own with half stops on all 3 blades) but the 2 bladed jack knives are nice as well!

For those interested:
The first pic was in March when I used my 6332 to help with a late pruning.
The second pic was in April well after bud burst.
The
third pic was in May. April showers bring May flowers.
The
fourth pic was in June. Berries were starting to plump up, but were nowhere near ripe enough to pick.

Only around 5% of the blueberries are ripe at this point, but we pick them so fast you'll never see a big cluster of nice ripe blueberries together. The more we pick, the less there is to photograph. So, now is just a good a time to snap a pic as any!!

I have over 30 case pocket knives in my collection. My every day carry is usually an SOG flash II or a Buck or Boker
