That’s awesome! Do you scrape and tan the hides yourself? I’ve not been hunting or trapping much but I’m plenty interested in it.

There all scraped to perfection, a few stay to get tanned. The majority are sold at auction for Europe and the states.stans pelts are graded a+.sight unseen. Unfortunately these are November pelts from northern Canada,in a month when -40 hits the pelts double in price.wait for later in the season for fisher and wolverine and wolf.otters as well.

I still find myself dropping this one in my pocket most mornings.

Today I have this three spring 5347.... my favorite stockman. It's a Bradford Cutlery, made by Case, so I figure it still counts...
I like the thickness and even-ness of the stag on this one.... it is stainless, but I can live with that. It takes a nice edge, and seems to hold it as well as my cv knives....

Posted this Sowbelly yesterday in "What traditional knife are ya totin today". I wrote then that it's in my top 3 favorite Case knives. Today I thought it should be shown here too. I plan on carrying the other 2 favorites this week as well just to celebrate the goodness of Case cutlery.

This is one of my favorite Case knives, bourbon barrel wood covers on the small swell center jack. I would put it in my top 5 Case knives, it always seems to want to ride along for the day and it's a super handy little two blade knife.
