Who still carries a Case Knife?

Posted this Sowbelly yesterday in "What traditional knife are ya totin today". I wrote then that it's in my top 3 favorite Case knives. Today I thought it should be shown here too. I plan on carrying the other 2 favorites this week as well just to celebrate the goodness of Case cutlery. :)

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Wow wow wow! Now here's a question for the historians: I thought that the "raised lettering" shield was only used for two or three years around the 1988 time frame. Surprised to see it on a more current knife and wonder what the story is. Anyway, it's absolutely stunning in combination with that deep blue bone.

In the company of others...a modest CASE Penknife, beautiful W&T on this one, but the Delrin has got very matte and taken on a 'tattoo ' Any tips for brightening it up a bit?
You may be able to buff it with some mild abrasive like a polishing compound or varying degrees of fine sandpaper (Or a combination of both). You just would have to be cautious around the shield & bolsters. That's what I would try anyway. Others here probably have more experience with this than me & have a better idea. Good luck!

That’s got me curious, never seen that before.
Yes, it's odd indeed. Far as I recall it got a wipe over with mineral oil then some black cloth got on it leaving these tattoo streaks. I thought delrin was impervious to such markings, seems not.

Thanks for the suggestions, I used some bees wax on the scales, came up nicely but the tattoo stays, ah well, the marks of use :) Very snappy knife this one, like most CASE.
