Stag, or bone stag? Looks like bone stag to me. Either way, nice knife!I had some time to kill so I stopped in a newly opened Tractor Supply and saw their Case display.
Seems like a nice fifth pocket option, the stag is done nicely I think (though I am not a traditional aficionado).

I’m perfectly ok with bone stag, and have a few patterns in it, but of course I like true stag even more (as I think most would).Yes bone stag - that would fall into the not an aficionado comment LOL - I appreciate traditionals, just don’t have a lot of breadth with them.
The main blade came sharp-ish, but the spey blade wouldn’t cut butter on a hot day. Easily remedied with a pocket stone and some stropping however. I can see most of my use coming from the sheep’s foot however as an all around utility knife, i.e. package opener.
That bone stag is very nicely done.I had some time to kill so I stopped in a newly opened Tractor Supply and saw their Case display.

My brother had several hives years ago. He would rob them without some or and protective gear. Wore shorts and a T-shirt. Never had an issue with them until 1 decided to go up the leg of his shirts. Human instinct and reflex was to swat it which he did. The pheromones from smashing that one caused a swarm to come out. He made it to his house but did suffer a couple stings. I laughed when he told me
Really nice acquisition there, it's a great EDC and in many ways their Bonestag is BETTER than a lot of underwhelming real Stag which can be expensive & disappointing. Well done!I had some time to kill so I stopped in a newly opened Tractor Supply and saw their Case display.
