Who still carries a Case Knife?

Carried a stag 18 last night, so carried a different stag handled 18 today. This one a second cut with the new grind blades from 1984. OH

jmh33 jmh33 that smooth yellow bone looks real nice!
I agree... that is some nice bone...

I'm carrying my sowbelly this week.... it's in synthetic yellow bone.... 🤣 good ol' yaller delrin.....
I really like the Case sowbellies, particularly after I do my "ergo-mods" on them. Makes them much more user/carry-er friendly. Weird how different those two pics look, color wise. Taken about 30 seconds apart...

I was hoping y'all could shed some light on an interesting case (trapper I think?) that I ran across in an of timey hardware store today. Not that I believe this knife is old. It's just odd and google hasn't helped me id it. It's the red knife in my first pic that has a 2 forked blade and a clip . I've been racking my brains trying to figure out what that knife could be used for. I also included a picture of the rest of the case if there's anything anybody sees or wants to tell me about. Thanks boys

I’m not certain, but the fork sure looks like a divot tool for golf.

‘77 faux mother of pearl. What would the scales be made of? Acrylic? I bought it off a guy for something like $20. The bolsters are road rashed, as was the same side scale. I took some 400gt & then some 1000gt. The springs are nice and tight, nice walk and talk. Just a nice little 5th pocket user. IMG_2582.jpeg

I’ve ordered several case sowbellys to give the pattern a try. For the three that I’ve tried so far, they all have the spey blade rubbing against the liner. Is this just a normal/common thing for this pattern?
