No excuse to have the tip above the blade well on a new knife, IMHO.

I remember reading in one of the bladeforums threads that visible pins in the bolsters on case knives was considered a flaw that was covered under warranty, not sure of the validity of that statement but I know that can't be true today.I wonder why Case can't be bothered to do it.
