A Vic co-carry can to things the primay carry shouldn't do. The primary can probably do thos "dirty" tasks, such as turning a screw, pry off a paint/stain/varnish lid, and open a can, however, doing so will very likely damage the knife; a broken tip, or busted blade, and in the case of opening a can of Creamed Possum, sweet taters, and coon fat gravy () result in an edge that in comparison makes a butter knife "sharp".
This is one of my favorite Case Barlows. No shield with a bolster stamp/etch is the way to go and the color and jigging are fantastic.The more I look at this knife, the more I like it. Those handle scales...
