Its pathetic and embarrassing that all you wanted to do was share your excitement, and were rewarded with more negative input and attempts to "school" you than anything else. Jesus, its not like you posted a BudK BOGO special.

Maybe i don't have the whole story. Did you run over everyones puppies this morning. Or ???

Congrats you got a blade you like. MBB are the FECES. I train with a guy who owns 2. Prolly get a custom at some point myself, so i can get a thinner blade.

Put up some use pics too. Its always cool to watch big blades destroy stuff.

FWIW, I find it annoying when anyone starts a thread dedicated to themselves and their knife. It's only acceptable in the custom/handmade forums, where makers are excited to show off what they've been working really hard on.

I'm pretty excited because I bought a few customs recently, but I'm not starting threads for people to (hopefully) drool over my knives. If this was started as a MBB appreciation thread, I wouldn't mind; but it was intended to be a Cappy2cap appreciation thread...

I'm on the other side of that fence, BB... I like seeing other people's collections. Speaking of, shoot over some pics of those customs please (or post a link if you don't mind).

Cappy, nice collection... A friend of mine is looking at getting some Miller Bros stuff, but I keep trying to steer him to Busse instead based on personal preference and usability.

Wickedly right for all its designed intentions and purposes.
Just the material for the coming apocalypse.
"hi my name is max. Mad max.... have you met my boys?"

I can understand personal preference...but what is your claim about the usability of Miller Bros Blades? I haven't used all of mine, but I've used some...and they've met my (high) expectations.
(I was tempted to throw in a pic or two, but this thread isn't about me & my knives)

Just wondering....is that sawback a functional sawback? As in...will it actually rip through a treetruck fairly quick?

If so, I think it's a cool knife.

If not...then that probably isn't a very good addition to the knife.

...and declare his expertise in badass mofo-ery and "big league steel." That usually doesn't fly.

Seems, same knife in a thread without that may have gotten more "Not my cup of tea, but enjoy." replies.

I'm glad our friend enjoys his knives, including his new one, and I hope he enjoys doing with them whatever he does.

Must be annoyed at a pretty huge chunk of this site then.

Personally, i enjoy seeing knives, especially if they are unique.

It annoys me when a guy has to walk on eggshells and be afraid to post something for fear of ridicule.

Id like to see your new customs.

How rude. :(

This is a "knife Forum" !

Although not my cup of tea this member deserves more respect than has been given by many in this thread. :(

Nothing in the OP has anything to do with the poster's attributes. Just enthusiastic description of his objects.

Same could be said about everybody else who replied to the thread. The ones you called "pathetic." Just expressing their opinions about objects.

Crapping on a knife from a fellow BF member's personal collection is uncool. :thumbdn:

I find it bizarre that you would find that annoying on a knife enthusiasts forum. Showing off knives is pretty big round here.

Some people need thicker skin. That's what's wrong with our society nowadays.

It's the Internet when you throw something out there you never know what you're going to get.

We are not robots pre-programmed with the only set responses. we get to have an opinion.

Jamesh, the OP set the tone in his first few posts. Any disagreement as to his assertions were labeled as "trolling as a hater". Frankly, when I see his new knives, I don't see any "sick" "bad mofo" knives. I see knives that remind me of a $25 Cold Steel GI Tanto. Glad he likes them, but he should have been prepared to handle other peoples' opinions a bit better. I think those knives he posted are ugly, and don't see any real super skill involved in having made them, does that make me a hater? Just trolling?

Edited to add: As someone else said, if he hadn't labeled anyone who disagrees with him as haters, he'd probably have more comments to the tune of "Not really my speed, but glad you're happy! Enjoy!" That's what he would have gotten from me.

Not a single question in the OP.

If you want to bicker about this sort of thing at least get the facts correct is the title not a question?

Yup, he set the tone. If you talk like a mallninja be prepared to be treated accordingly.

Whatever. People like what they like. Glad the OP is happy but that knife is not for me personally. I like some of his other knives a lot better and they would be much more functional for my personal needs of a knife
