Who's Drinkin'?????

image.jpg10 year old Whistle Pig rye whiskey. I'll spring for the older stuff next time. Good stuff! It's been snowing all day and it's still coming down. 23 degrees out?

I don't know why but, I just can't get used to drinking Whiskey, bourbon, Scotch etc. I do okay with tequila, rum and vodka though. Is there a secret?

For me, the first time I actually enjoyed scotch it was a very good, albeit over priced one(JWB), with a nice cigar, and a few scotch lovers to point out the flavor and scents that were present. I don't imbibe anymore, but when I play cards and smoke cigars with my friends I enjoy a drop or two in a glass to swirl and sniff.
Of good stuff of course. The cheap crap smells like a used band aid.

Walked into a local store today and scored two bottles of Four Roses Limited Edition 2016!

UPDATE: I've been drinking this here and there over the last week or so and have concluded it is delicious!

Sorry, no pictures... I'm way to inebbebreattedd to do that...

Jack Daniels Honey was on special offer at the market the other day; half price.

My wife and I are half way through a bottle so far this evening... working on the second half and I keep having to retype this sentence!

I love good mead (not too sweet, Castle Moniack is good) and this is like mead times by two...

'Scuse me, my fingers have gone numb...

Excuse the terrible pic. I spend my money on knives so i drink the cheap stuff. I enjoy the cheap stuff though

Is that mirror polish from Busse or you do that yourself? That can't be regular ol' "SATIN"?

Drinking the good stuff. To me it is anyways.:)

Tinbasher, an Aussie blades lover did the mirroring. I am not the first one who owned this knife
