Who's excited for #47 Viper?!

Hehe, yes indeed, like watching grass grow or paint dry or the military finding intelligence, I'm just hoping it makes it to my doorsteps by Friday's mail call so I'll have her to show off at the Lewisburg PA knife show, hope to meet up with some folks there on Saturday and having this would make it that much more enjoyable ;)

Ya know, almost like watching a pot of water, waiting for it to boil, same goes for watching the USPS tracking site...waiting for an update ;)

MUUUHHAAAHHaaaHHhrrreeerrg....ssnnnnnffff.
Welcome to meakos world.
I think the two longest CONUS(how I despise that acronym in terms of postage) mail transit times combined would not exceed the shortest time one ever got to me.Which was about 6 days and add 50 percent.
Which brings me to a sensitive question.
Are we doing a 2014 knife? Should i start a new thread. sorry.

Too many knives in the pot at the moment to move on the #47 but that burnt sienna and indian paintbrush bone is fantastic!

EDIT: Ah hell... I just bought the burnt sienna!

Here's another to tip the scales into buying one. The top knife is a 73 scout.

This is my first post in the traditionals category (as far as I can remember, anyway) and I'm just really happy to say I've got an Ebony Wood coming my way. Should arrive on Monday! :)

I've got a lot of older, broken, used and abused traditional knives... mostly stuff found at garage sales or the like, but this is my first traditional that will be of any quality. Really excited for it!

My first Natural Stag GEC in the mail. Will have to adopt a monastic lifestyle for a while to compensate but it's a looker.

I hear there are Frontier Bone Tidioutes?? I wonder how I'm going to get one........

I received my white bone in the mail today and I'm very pleased! Fit an finish are spot on, no gaps, good walk and talk, no wobble, pretty close to centered and the pull is great, can easily be pinched open. Not the sharpest knife out of the tube but nothing that can't be remedied quickly. Here are a couple of picks of it with my Bullnose. Then I had them together I couldn't help but notice that the handle looks like the Bullnose shape but flipped around and a bit more rounded on the but end. It's a bit slimmer then the Bullnose.

Thought I'd add to the thread. This was delivered today, and I'm really pleased with it. It feels great in my hand, is thin enough to carry easily in my pocket, and is pinch-able. Fit and finish are very nice - the blade is centered, no gaps and no wobble. It's flush at the open and closed positions, but not at the half-stop which is the only imperfection I can find and that's not a big issue for me. Glad I pulled the trigger.
