Who's gotten their 5.1 Starter?

You should get each knife as they're repective production runs finish up. So 5.1 then 4.7 then the 7/7

I ordered 5.1, 4.7, 4.1, 3.5, 12 all at the same time. The 5.1 is now in my hands  the others will come when ready, I've no doubt.

Quick question: I have 5.1 in the same order as 4.7 and 7/7. Does that mean my 5.1 will get shipped after all the knives in that order are ready to ship?
I will eat one leather sheath if that is the case :(

We are shipping the knives as they become available. As mentioned, if the models are close together we may hold on to one while we get the other built. Since we are still waiting for GSO-4.7 handles to come in you will get your GSO-5.1 first. The only exception to that is international orders. I have been holding back GSO-5.1s that were ordered with GSO-4.7s to go to international addresses, since those handles will be here soon. Each international package is between $30-$50 to ship and we only charge $10, so it will save us quite a bit to wait on those.

Ellie, If someone ordered a 5.1 and happens to be on the super secret mystery steel test list for the 4.7, would that hold up their 5.1? A guy can hope cant he???

hahaha! No, it may slow down a GSO-4.7 order by a couple of days, but definitely not the GSO-5.1 orders.

Probably someone that has already complained in here and wasn't satisfied with the reaction of his audience.

I hear what you are saying, but there was no "fine print." S!K practically yelled about not guaranteeing any delivery times.

Haha I think you're right! I haven't gone on their page to look at that since last April but I do remember it was one of the first things said.
Maybe they need to put multiple warning labels every paragraph so these people can comprehend what's going on. Kinda like the "Caution, this beverage may be hot" warning on McDonalds coffee cups because we all know that one idiot!

It's really irritating waiting through the shifting time lines. I mean, they did say they were hoping to ship by Christmas. But, life has an irritating way of saying "to hell with your hopes." I don't like paying up front for a knife with an indefinite delivery time. BUT, it hasn't stopped me from preordering two knives, and jumping on two presales. As long as the eventually deliver, and it is a good knife, I'll abide. I wish their business model was a little different, but that isn't news to anyone who has read some of my recent postings. But it isn't. So that's what you deal with. Life is what happens while you're looking around making plans. Might as well deal with it.

classic Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (someone got between me and the pic) ^^^^ Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it.
