You guys recall when exactly S!K close the pre-order for the 5.1? Mine was ordered in Dec from the pre-sale. Just trying to get a grasp on the quantities left to go. Currently what's in progress are all those knives ordered in April. From April to December seems like such a long wait but if April is when the pre-order closes then mine from the pre-sale should be up real soon.

Did you order anything besides the 5.1?
I remember Ellie mentioning that, if an ordered contained multiple knives or models, and if production-completion would be close in time, they'd hang onto the first knife and wait until the second was done before shipping international to save on costs...

Nope. I did ordered a 7/7 and 4.1 but they are all placed on different occasions and not under the same order. Moreover I am overseas and I already paid for shipping on each item. Talk about shipping, I am really grateful Survive! only charges $10 for international shipping. I know that is way below what it would really cost to ship out of the US. Where else can you get such great service?

Not that I know of, really. If a dealer or manufacturer charges the exact cost price for international shipping I will already be happy, but Survive! goes beyond that and absorbed partial shipping costs. I am thankful for their outstanding commitments to making their customers pleased!
